"The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, making for a pleasant family stay. The breakfast is delicious with a wide variety of options. The room is spacious and clean, comfortably accommodating a family of four. A small balcony is a lovely touch. And a dedicated car park just opposite to the entrance of the hotel is great."

"It was a shame the hotel restaurant wasn't open during our stay but access to dining at the nearby marina was ok. The day we travelled into Nice, there were problems on the railway, but taxis were available, if a little expensive."

"First of all, it's a really beautiful house and home, not just a well-appointed B and B. It's stylish in a traditional way throughout, with red tiled floors in the room and shutters on the windows. Beautiful plants in the garden and a lovely pool - that green is fresher and more inviting in real life than in the photos! The loungers by the pool are more comfortable than they look as well. Second, all the usual aspects, location, cleanliness, comfort, etc are exceptional. But for me, it was the helpfulness and friendliness of Hervé and Catherine that stood out - not only did he lend me his bike to cycle along the canal, but when I had a flat tyre (on my car) in the next village he rescued me after Hertz proved hard to reach, and even ferried me to the tyre shop - and changed it for me! - next day. A really special place to stay, with wonderful hosts."

"I was met on my arrival by Agnès, the owner of the property. I was given a welcome drink after being shown to my room. The bedroom area was very spacious and the separate bathroom was large, with an excellent "hot" shower. I also had a terrace on which I could sit and watch the sunset and listen to the birds, so beautiful. Breakfast was a delight, as were the dinners I had over my two night stay. Most of the food was home made and was really lovely. Such a tranquil place to stay in order to appreciate nature in the Ariège."
