"The apartment was great and cosy with good beds, a very well equipped small kitchen and a beautiful terrace. Peter is a great host, always helpful and with a good recommendation at hand, whether it’s about parking in Avignon, finding the best restaurants or places to refresh in nice waters (gorges). He is a great bicycle enthusiast and gave us the best routes to ride. Even being amateurs we found it very beautiful to bike between the wine yards and olive tree fields in the morning hours and decided to bike more in the future to be better prepared for more challenging trips when we come to see Peter again. And this we will do for sure."

"Die Zufahrt zum Zimmer ist sehr eng. Mit einem größeren Auto muss man öfter die Luft anhalten. Es gibt zwar einen abgeschlossenen Parkplatz außerhalb, aber zum ein und ausräumen muss man halt die Zugfahrt Inkaufnehmen."

Przede wszystkim przesympatyczny, pomocny właściciel Zapalony rowerzysta, który chętnie doradzi dokąd, w okolicy, warto udać się na dwóch kółkach. Lokal ładnie, z gustem urządzony, wyposażony we wszystko co potrzebne na kilkudniowy pobyt. Miejsce do zapamiętania i powrotów."

"It is a superb hotel in an old hunting mansion. Very nice facilities, very nice friendly hosts, very good breakfast, very atmospheric rooms! The location is fantastic: it is 10 min driving or 20 minutes walking from Château de Chenonceau."

"Location was excellent for getting to Caen, Bayeux and Normandie beaches. We were able to park a motorcycle securely off the road and market stall holders on the Friday would have enabled us to ride out if we wanted. Some nice restaurants within easy walking distance. Appartment was perfect for a couple."
"L’appartement est très bien agencé , très bien placé et très propre. Il y a tout ce dont vous avez besoin, cuisine etc. L’hôte est agréable et s’adapte il n’y a rien à redire! Très bon rapport qualité prix, l’appartement est à 300 m de la plage de Labenne, en hiver c’est peu animé mais agréable. Entre les landes (Capbreton seignosse) et le pays basque (Biarritz etc) à 20/30 min en voiture de ces lieux ."

"Maurice is a fantastic host who warmly welcomed us and provided all the information we needed to feel at home in his studio. The studio was very clean and equipped with everything one might need. A couple of cold beers and bottles of water were waiting for us in the fridge , such a thoughtful touch. There was clear and detailed written information, both about how to use the appliances in the apartment and about nearby sights and attractions. Maurice even offered us free transport to museums in nearby towns we had planned to visit. The air conditioning was absolutely priceless in the 35-degree heat. And when it was time to leave and hand back the keys, he surprised us with freshly baked croissants .What a lovely farewell! It’s a joy to know there are still hosts like Maurice, who truly do their work with heart. Thank you so much, Maurice!"
