"We have stayed here before and really appreciate the owner's friendliness and the artistic decor. We like the rural location and it was wonderful to see the Milky Way on a clear night and to hear owls hooting. It was great to be welcomed with a cup of tea whenever we arrived back from a day out. Madame made us feel very much at home and we definitely hope to return."

"We loved La Mesnagerie. The hostess greeted us by offering us a cup of tea - quite unusual in France and very welcome. The property was lovely - it is quite old and has an almost magical feel, with lots of attractive ornaments, furniture and artwork. We enjoyed having breakfast round the table with other guests and the little touches like the home made jam. Our bed was very comfortable and overall we found the whole experience charming. We definitely hope to visit again."

"The accommodation is a pleasant short walk away from the centre of a lovely little historic town which has some good restaurants. The room was comfortable, very clean and attractive. It was possible to prepare a simple meal. Each money we received a bag of delicious fresh croissants and bread. We were also supplied with milk and yoghurt and coffee pods."

"The room was quiet and cozy, away from the bustling city-centre, yet close to the metro. Amalie and her family were wonderful hosts. The breakfast they provided was excellent. We had to leave quite early to the airport on the last day, so, they also readied the breakfast the previous night. They even gave us an extra floor mattress for the kid which we ended up not using as my wife, the kid, and I could fit into the bed easily."

"Location excellent, the reason we booked this place. Overlooking harbour, and a short walk to the beach was great for my husband who has mobility problems. Room clean, compact and comfortable, very quiet. Garden was wonderful as there was a heatwave but sitting under the pine trees there was always a breeze. Breakfast simple but plentiful. Prices of drinks at bar very reasonable. Staff helpful and pleasant."
