"Superb location in the heart of a beautiful town. Easy parking two minutes away. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there are many a short walk away. The building is old and narrow and we were lucky enough to have the large room at the front overlooking the square. The other rooms further back may well be a lot smaller."

"The friendlyness of owner/staff was excellent. The rooms clean and functional. The cream on top was the breakfast in a cosy sunroom. One can feel the owners love to detail. An excellent place to stay and very affordable."

"This was our third (or fourth?) stay in the Consuls in a period of some 15 years. The Consuls is a beautiful, classic old building on the main square of Mirepoix. Our room ('Marquis': top room) was well appointed, comfortable, with a great view over the square and the cathedral. Breakfast (we chose Parisian) was generous, with fresh bread and croissants, delicious freshly pressed orange juice, and very good coffee. The relaxed atmosphere of the hotel and its general setting make it a perfect base for exploring Mirepoix and its surroundings. Highly recommended."

"Turckheim is a very nice little settlement in the heart of the Alsace region on the Route de Vin. This auberge is situated right in the middle of the village surrounded by century old half-timbered houses, restaurants and merchants of wine. If you like wine, this is the place to be. The hotel is really genuine and offers a calm place to stay i Turkheim, even if it's situated in the center of everything. Thanks to thick walls and a lovely garden at the rear of the house, you hardly realize that you're placed in the very midst of the village. If you would like to stay in a traditional setting and close to all that Turkheim has to offer, this will live up to your wishes. Rooms are simple, but include everything you need, even a mini-TV on the wall and a bottle of water (very nice). The bed was great and the breakfast is simple but ok."

"Our modern and nicely appointed room was in the garden with a nice sitting area on the terrace. Garden surrounding the old villa (where you can also sleep) is large enough for all guests to park. Very quiet. No traffic noise. Special mention for the owner who is extremely welcoming, and helped us find a garage. Don' t miss the brocante market on Saturday morning along the river in Villeneuve."
