"Very lovely people, extremely helpful owner, good food, great for sunset, amazing view from billard table, well equipped room with Netflix, la playita beach is lovely and nearby. Private beach not ideal for swimming / not easy to get in the water (sea urchins), but once you're in there is reef structures everywhere and amazing crystal clear water!!"

"The location and view were amazing. The hotel is like nothing else we’ve been to. Has a great pool, amazing views, one the best beaches is 5 mins away. And David the host is very helpful."

"This place is like a beautiful amazing house in which you rent a room (I was renting a room). You become part of the family if you wish to. Susanna is amazing and can help you with anything you need. She will cook your meals at a small fee/ she will organise excursions / she will tell you where to go, etc etc. You can also just do all your own cooking in either the communal kitchen or private kitchen if you are renting an apartment. The town is about 15 minute easy walk and has some supermarkets / bars / restaurants. However, it is still small and original. If you don't want to walk back, you can grab a ride with a scooter for about $3. Cash is good to have but there are ATM's in the town. The town is small and safe to walk around in in the evening."

"I came here with my husband and kids for holiday and I was amazed by everything. Starting from amazing view to really clean unique rooms. David was always here ready to help with everything. I have visited mote than 30 countries and Hotels and this one was definitely my favourite. I am sad we left and I already miss this place, asking my husband to come back as soon as possible. "Omg! I just came back home from my trip to Las Galleras and I have to say that I spent the best time in my life because of my stay in Hotel Sunset Samana. The owner David is one of the kindest, nicest and smartest, host I have ever met. He really takes care of every detail to make you time the best possible. The hotel is beautiful place, really unique and has soul in it, you can feel some kind of magic. The room was super clean, the staff was really kind and helpful. I think this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. I really recommend it to everyone who wants to live some magic and enjoy the beautiful view at the ocean, palms and beach.
