"We had an amazing time over New Year. Special thanks to Jaime for his hospitality. He makes everyone feel welcome and is also an superb cook. King II which we booked was just amazing: super large, equipped with proper furniture plus a big bathroom. And the view from the balcony was unbeatable. Breakfasts were tasty and filled us up for the day exploring nearby beaches. An unexpected extra was the cave on the property"
"Be prepared for a super steep road and last 100 meter dirt road, which was a challenge for our super old rental car. No WiFi which was rather a plus for us (but good mobile connection)"

"Der Knaller ist das Gebäude selbst, ein nachgebautes schlossähnliches Kastell auf einem Hügel etwas außerhalb von Las Galeras mit weitem Blick über die Umgebung uns das Meer. Unser Zimmer war einfach riesig und stilvoll eingerichtet mit Balkon. Das sehr gute Frühstück wurde auf der Terrasse im großen Garten serviert. Jaime ist eine perfekter Gastgeber und spricht zur Überraschung sogar Deutsch. Abends darf man auf keinen Fall das wunderbare Dinner verpassen, das Jaime selbst mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Man benötigt hier zwar ein Auto zum Strand und in den Ort, aber dafür ist der Aufenthalt im Castillo wirklich etwas ganz Besonderes - unbedingt empfehlenswert."

"Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Castillo. Die Strände in der Umgebung sind traumhaft und der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer ist unbezahlbar. Auch im Garten lässt es sich mit Blick auf die Bucht sehr gut aushalten. Jaime war ein perfekter Gastgeber und Superkoch. Wir haben wunderbar gespeist. Endlich haben wir nach 10 Tagen Dom Rep einen erholsamen und tollen Ort gefunden."
