"We had a room in the annex which was next to the gate so a lot of traffic. Staff was very friendly good breakfast. Parking just outside the gate square is for residents only."

"The breakfast was very good. The staff were excellent. Our room was in a building 300 metres away. The room was comfortable but small. Our room was at the front and it was noisy. Car traffic began early and is noisy on cobblestone. Bells from town clock tower added to the noise. We enjoyed our stay but did not sleep as well as we would like because of the noise."

"Excellent location, room, quality of food. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were one of the best I ever had. I noticed the staff put on gloves to handle the tableware at breakfast. The attention to detail is exceptional."

"The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, giving local advice as where to have dinner, etc. We were upgraded to an even quieter room overlooking the garden, and indeed it was nicely calm. There was complimentary water and coffee/tea in the room. For the breakfast, they made us feel important as guests by making sure we as vegetarians had choices as well."
