Set on a riverbank and surrounded by jungle, Tortuga Lodge offers an outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi and a cuina d'autor serving fusion cuisine with Caribbean flavours. All rooms have river views. À la carte breakfast included in rate. All rooms have windows, ceiling fans, air conditioner and a private bathroom with a hairdryer and toiletries. The front desk can help arrange kayaking and other tours and visits to local villages and nearby turtle nesting sites when in season. Tortuguero Airport is located just across the river from Tortuga Lodge, and San José is a 30-minute flight away. The nearest town is a 10-minute boat ride away. Set on a riverbank and surrounded by jungle, Tortuga Lodge is accesible by boat or plane only.

"Molt bona qualitat preu. Els amfitrions van estar molt servicials i ens van donar molts consells. La casa i les habitacions molts completes i pràctiques. Ens va encantar l'estufa de llenya i el menjador per passar l'estona. A més hi ha una passarel·la a mode de balcó que rodeja la casa des de la que pots veure el volcà Poás. Ens hagués agradat quedar-nos un dia més per conèixer millor l'entorn! Molt recomanable!"

The owner is super nice and helpful, it's walking distance to the beach, options for food around, although keep in mind that at the closest entrance you have to pay to enter even in the evenings. The other entrance you don't have to, but it's a longer walk. Wifi and aircon works good."
