"The ambience of the property is excellent, with beautiful natural surroundings and abundant wildlife. Hearing the howler monkeys at dawn was a unique and memorable experience. The staff were consistently attentive, and all tours were very well organized, making the overall stay smooth and enjoyable."

"Regarding the room, it’s important for future guests to know that the bungalow does not have air conditioning, and the windows are covered only with nets. While this design keeps you immersed in the environment, it also makes the room extremely humid — to the point where clothes, bedding, and other items become noticeably damp. This can be part of the jungle experience, but adding a mosquito net around the bed or providing air conditioning would significantly improve comfort and elevate the property to an exceptional level. Overall, a wonderful stay with great potential to be truly outstanding with a few adjustments."

"The hotel is beautiful, it's located in the middle of the jungle, and we could see sloths, monkeys and many birds while at the pool, or walking around the property. The taxi boat into town only takes a few minutes and they are very flexible. The pool was very quiet when we were there, perfect for relaxing. Our room was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast finished very early, but when we had the 6am tours, even when booked with a local guide and not the hotel, they kept some food aside so we could still enjoy it when we came back, we just had to ask the day before."

"The buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was very poor. They did not have a lot of options to chose from, and especially lunch and dinner were very expensive for the quality and variety they offer. There is no drinking water, and only a few water fountains are available around the hotel. Wifi was very poor in the room, it barely worked and there is also very little signal seeing how remote the location is."

"The grounds were beautiful. Nice location away from the huddle and bustle of town. Pool was beautiful and very welcome to refresh after a day in the sun! The best thing about Pachira was the staff - in particular Bismarck - who booked (and sometimes ran) our water taxis and even arranged for our passports to be reunited with us when we foolishly left them in the hotel safe when we left!!"
