"Great hospitality. You feel like home. Good service—attentive and warm. A beautifully decorated boutique hotel, with a well-designed interior garden. The breakfast is delicious, featuring bread baked at the hotel. You will always find someone at the reception desk taking care everything is running smoothly. Lovely view to the volcano.Highly recommended."
"The front rooms have a lovely view towards the volcano but it is also facing a very residential street which makes the rooms not very private. It would be recommendable to use something like a window film to cover the first meter of the terrace windows, which keeps the nice view to the volcano while keeping the privacy."

"We loved the rooms at the Maki Hotel - light & bright with big windows and balconies. Very peaceful area but easy and quick to walk into the main streets of the town. The staff were lovely, really helpful and friendly. Beds comfortable and nice breakfast. It was excellent value for money in what can be an expensive town to stay in."

"The hotel is centrally located but still in a quiet area. They have a locked area to park cars and bikes, which was very useful for me. They were also very helpful in keeping my luggage stored when i was away for a couple of days. Breakfast is good with personal service. I came back to this hotel 2 times, everytime excellent."
