Set in the road between Villarrica and Pucon, and only 4.5 km from the entrance to the town of Pucon, Cabañas Portal Pucon feature cosy cottages surrounded by lush forests and offering lake views. There is an ambient-temperature outdoor pool, and some cottages have a terrace. Cabañas Portal Pucon are 9 km from Villarica National Park, which offers nature trails and ecotourism. Several thermal waters can be found, starting at a 27 km distance, where guests can swim, relax and also enjoy a mud bath. The Superior Cottage is located at the west side of the road, at the lakefront, while the rest of the cottages are located at the east side of the road, about 500 mts from the lake. The private chalets at Portal Pucon are made from fine wood panels, and have seating areas with warm fireplaces. All have fully-equipped kitchens and stunning forest lake and views. WiFi is available at an extra fee. Cabañas Portal Pucon offers free parking on site.

"Lovely cabin, stylishly decorated, well equipped. We had one by the lake with private black beach access. Unfortunately the cabins by the beach are close to the road which is super busy until late and from early morning. Besides that, comfortable beds and good WiFi."

"Se puede mejorar que la Puerta del balcón no tiene un distintivo en el vidrio, como estaba muy limpio, un par de personas chocaron con la puerta, al estar cerrada y ellos pensaron estaba abierta. Es muy peligroso este choque, por suerte todo fue lento y el vidrio resistió bien, pero se puede poner alguna cinta adhesiva al vidrio, para ver que la puerta esta cerrada mucho mejor. Estábamos en la Cabaña N° 5."
