"The owners were delightful. Spoke good English and were very friendly. Furthermore we arrived in the evening after dark having been completely misled and overcharged by a taxi driver. They intervened, argued our case and came to a reasonable settlement. Such help was hugely appreciated. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and excellent value for an overnight stop en route to Samarkand."

"I stayed at Old City Hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent — right in the old city, with many attractions within walking distance. The room was clean, cozy, and well prepared upon arrival. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep. It’s clear that the hotel is well maintained and cared for. The staff deserve special mention — very friendly, polite, and always ready to help. Their hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with everything you need to start the day. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is calm and welcoming, perfect after a long day of exploring the city. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Old City Hotel to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and great service."
