"Peperpot is really beautiful, the old buildings and the small houses where the guests stay. Big rooms, VERY nice bed, a cozy veranda, lots of birds, nicely held pools, the staff are so sweet and helpful. Great breakfast as well. In the Peperpot Park we spotted tons of monkeys and had a great time. We’ve heard from others that they think the food and drinks are really expensive, we thought the pricing was ok and not alarmingly expensive."

"Vrijstaand huisje, leuk vrolijk beddengoed, leuk servies in schattig keukentje, gezellige sfeer! Overal muggengaas voor het raam. Locatie is in Commewijne met een plek in de tuin, onder een afdak, waar je heerlijk in de wind kan zitten. Als je zin hebt om de bus te nemen, hou dan rekening met dat ze in de vroege ochtend en late middag gaan, maar tussendoor nauwelijks. Wel leuk om tijdens het wachten met de lokale bevolking te praten. Veel vogels om te zien, het huisje ligt vlakbij een schattig meertje. Hospita aardige vrouw waar ik gezellig kopjes mee heb gedronken. Goed bereikbaar via app. Er is in de slaapkamer een ventilator met Nederlandse stekker. Alles dat je wilt zien in oud Paramaribo kan ook per fiets, die kan je daar huren. Aan die kant van de rivier kan je het verkeer ontwijken door op de stoepen uit te wijken, let op gaten in stoep en wegen, diepe putten ook"

"De verlichting is schaars en je hebt wel een universele stekker extra nodig voor je Hollandse stekkers. Hospita heeft voor mij een fantastische leeslamp gekocht zodat ik in de avond kon lezen. Als het donker wordt, zijn er muggen en kan je beter naar binnen. Als vrouw alleen over straat ook niet handig, dus fijn als je kan lezen. Koud water maar dat vind ik zelf geen probleem. Airco op verzoek, maar ik miste die niet. Heb veel gefietst in Paramaribo maar aan de kant van Commewijne was het te smal en te gevaarlijk. Honden vielen me aan."
