"The place has nice interior design and vibe. I generally dislike the food in CA but did like the traditional and free breakfast and would not miss it. I found most of the complains of the other reviewers overblown, I came with low expectations but found little to dislike. The kitchen is functional. The location is directly in the city. I had a room on my own as they seem to have overcapacity with about 20-30 beds. I even would have extended but there is little to do in Esteli and I had already booked the next accommodations. I would return. Esteli has at least a cooler climate than the coast and mosquitoes are less of an issue."

"I do not care about "booked tours" so the fact they they don't organize them doesn't interest me. The service is at least above the Nicaraguan average. There are ants and cockroaches, but very limited compared to many other places in CA."

"I can absolutely recommend this place for all nature lovers. The place has a beautiful garden with many flowers, trees and birds (including hummingbirds). Deylin (speaking English well) is the woman leading this hostel and very kind. They can organize tours for you for example through the organic coffee plantations or the cloud forest to whack butterflies, birds and gigantic fig trees. If you get on this tours a bit of Spanish is recommended. The place has also a nice fresh climate compared to the hot Leon region. Highly recommended for nature lovers."

"El equipamiento en cuestión de pequeños electrodomésticos, para poder hacer vida allí. Sin tener que salir todos los días a comer fuera."

"Well located in between the busstation and the city center. A huge, well equipped room, a comfy bed and a warm shower. Everything very clean. Very friendly and welcoming hosts, who have the best trip advices and are helpful with everything needed. They speak Spanish, English and French. I enjoyed my stay there and would highly recommend it."
