"The Jazz Hotel‘s location is great - close to the promenade but not right in the middle. We liked the parking garage and the (extensive) breakfast option. The rooms and bathroom were very clean and we had enough space for everything. Plus a little balcony for an aperitivo in the evening sun."

"No AC in the room but hotel provides a strong fan, so not a problem per se. The only complaint we would have was that guests are allowed to smoke on the balcony. With the balcony door open to get some cool/fresh air at night (room was very warm due to the nice weather), we were confronted with other guests’ smoke while in bed before going to sleep and when waking up. I would highly recommend only allowing smoking outside the hotel. Very unfortunate to be exposed to others’ unhealthy addiction."
"- Staff are very welcoming & friendly - You can reserve a parking space for CHF 18.- per day - Close to lake (only a few minutes by foot) - Breakfast was included - good with different choices - We didn’t have a view on lake but still felt vacation vibe (see picture) - Nice shower pressure"
"- Room was quite small but ok for us for 1 night - There’s no AC but the fan helps air out the room - Odd smell from bathroom - We found this place to be expensive compared to quality of room but again it’s tourist season so it’s the price you pay to have quick access to lake in Ascona."
"I liked the idea of the Honesty fridge, the breakfast was good, we could take tea or coffee any time and aalso water and some soft drinks from the fridge..and the sound of jazz music in the background was beautiful"

"A very nice, jazz-themed hotel, situated just a 5-minute walk from the lake. Everywhere was clean and cozy. Lovely terrace to hang out in and rooms were clean and big. Great breakfast! Private parking available in the garage."
