We are 3 long distance cyclists riding from the UK to Italy and really enjoyed or stay at the modern Hotel Alpina after some tough hilly but stunningly beautiful riding. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. No problem storing our 3 bikes in the secure reception area. We all 3 shared one big room which was no problem. Very comfortable. Great restaurant which is good because the Alpina is a little bit out of town. Good breakfast. All good. Would stay here again. Highly recommended."

"Stayed here for business in the local area. The rooms, while basic, were clean and comfortable. Ate at the hotel restaurant every night, there was a reasonable amount of choice and the food was good. Staff very friendly and helpful although sometimes hard to find, as the reception was not manned during the day. Would definitely stay again."
"The walls between the rooms were very thin, with lots of sound from adjacent rooms. The walking route to the local station wasn't great, and involved walking along a local road with no pavement for part of the way."
