Featuring apartments with superb views of the Matterhorn and the village, BaseCamp Apartments are elevated above Zermatt, a 10-minute walk from the town centre and Gornergratbahn Cog Railway. Free Wi-Fi is provided and final cleaning fees are included. The hammam i saunacious, Alpine-style apartments have a fireplace providing a cosy atmosphere. They all come with a fully equipped kitchen, cable TV and a DVD player. Freshly baked bread rolls are available on request and are delivered to your door. In summer, a popular destination is the Leisee Mountain which can be reached with the Gondola Lift to Sunegga in 15 minutes. There you can swim, barbecue and hike. You will find a lift 160 metres from the chalet taking you directly to a bus station and the Gondola Lift to Sunegga. In good snow conditions, it is possible to ski from the Sunnegga-Rothorn Ski Area directly to the chalet. Supermarkets and cuina d'autors are located in the centre of town.

"We had some issues because we showed up late and arrived to the hotel instead of the apartments which wasn't clear from the instructions. Despite calling the emergency number we had to wait around for quite a while before someone responded. Then since we were in the wrong location, it was late and we were traveling with kids we got a cab to the apartment, which in the end was just up the hill, but it cost us 26CHF, which was quite steep for the distance traveled."

"Commanding a wonderful view of Matterhorn and the village of Zermatt. Fully equipped kitchen, clean and quiet inside. Just 10 minutes’ walk to the train station by using the lift inside the Sunnegga Blauherd Rothhorn Funicular station."
"Two points to improve the safety: 1. There is a small raised platform around the fireplace which can easily trip people as it is located in the way when one enters the sitting area. A potential hazard, especially for kids who like to run around. Adults trip themselves at times too if not paying special attention. I placed a board game at the corner to raise alertness of the potential danger. Still one of my friends almost tripped over. Strongly suggest to have it reduced in size, if not removed, for the sake of safety. 2. The shoe rack was a bit too long to be put outside the toilet, making the corridor a bit narrow. One of my friends hurt his knee as a result by bumping into the corner."
