The rooms were comfortable, and the bathrooms, although shared, were large and spotless. As a solo female traveller, it was very safe and comfortable"

"The monastery was serene & calm. Most other guests respected the environment & purpose of the experience. The shared bathrooms were immaculately clean & the rooms sparse, but comfortable. Meditative walking tours, yoga & visits to a church service are all available & recommended. Breakfast was well presented with a good choice of hot & cold food."

"We had a big expectation about this hotel, and even if it wasn't a big dissapointing, it was far less captivating than we had thought for an ancient monastery. The main advantage is its location, between the railway station and the old city main street. There is nothing to complain about the cleanliness, except that they do the houskeeping every other day. The silent breakfast is a good idea, but it's served until very early and there's little variety and with no meat, of course! The building is too big and it's kind of a hard work for the elderly and the disabled to go through the long alleways in search of the room. Besides location, we appreciated very much the quietness of the premises. This was by far the most expensive hotel of our whole holiday in Canada, and also the less value for money. Still, we had a nice stay..."

And it was a beautiful serene environment - hard to decribe, but I felt very much at peace, connected. I'd like to come back & spend more time here, maybe partake of the yoga, meditate!"
