"Marieke was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. There was a shared kitchen and living room for the guests, so we were able to cook simple meals and relax in the living area. Marieke even provided us with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and basil from her garden for our meal! The breakfasts were lovely too."
"The property is just off a busy road and was quite tricky to find first time (although Marieke did provide good directions). This is a very minor detail - overall the property was great. You could walk to the lake easily and it was only a short drive to the downtown area."
"Our hostess went out of her way to accommodate our needs that included personally taxiing us to the local theatre - our destination of evening entertainment - and returned to pick us up later - all due to our walking limitations and parking problems. She further booked us into a lovely dining establishment for our golden wedding anniversary. Also, her breakfasts were both delightful and original. What's not to like!"
