Chateau Nova Yellowknife

"Quite new compared to other hotels in the area. Location is not bad."

"The beds are too soft, the carpet were not well installed so a bit hard to pull my suitcase on it. The restaurant can get more authentic but overall Yellowknife food is so-so. Would be better if can have shuttle service to downtown, old town and airport/ uptown, even if just like once every hour during a few hours of the day."

"we stayed in a 1-bedroom apartment in the new building and it was very nice and clean. the housekeeping team does an excellent job there. we would have thought were the first ones to stay in that room."

"Yellowknife is a unique place in the world and a definite must. The Nova is a perfect place to base yourselves."

"The only reason it’s not a 10 is because we were a big group with five rooms and it turns out they actually have two sections to the hotel - one is across the car park. Bit impractical to split the group when it’s -30 but the staff were extremely helpful when we arrived at 1am and we managed to sort the rooms so they were all in the main building."

"Tried one of the apartments for the first time and I'm never picking anything else when travelling with another person. Two bed, two bath, lots of privacy, but less expensive than two rooms."

"Newly built apartments, the 2 bedrooms one we stayed in was very comfortable"

"At check in they wrongly charged our credit card, then they assigned a one bedroom room and at the end when we finally got the apartment we booked it was not clean as someone had used the bed and bathroom of one of the rooms. The morning after we spoke with a lovely lady that took care of the cleaning. That was the only cleaning service we got till the end of the stay (4 nights). The management should be on top of the housekeeping team."

"Staff were very pleasant and helpful. My only complaint was the remote for the TV needs replacing.. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable."

"The make shift ramp to the entrance of our building. Unsafe for my husbands wheelchair which resulted in him always having to go all the way through the hotel to get out."

"As noted I was put in another building. There was no phone (a safety issue) so no room service. I had to walk in rain across 2 parking lots to get to the gym, rstaurant etc. I was not given an option to Benin the main building - I was told I was not in a good enough room category. Despite that insult had a I been given an option to upgrade so I could be in the main building I would have."
