"An excellent place to round off a long safari trip in Botswana. The weather had been very hot so a room with great ac and fabulous showers were just what was needed. Good food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast allowed us to prepare for our flights home."

"Quirky appearance with a tropical feel in the surrounding gardens. Felt safe walking about 10 minutes down to the shopping area along the main road. Room was comfortable although the bed was small. Breakfast was very good. Ate in the restaurant twice for our evening dinner and we enjoyed the food served. The safari drive we took one morning was excellent thanks to our guide Andrik who was knowledgeable and obliging. The sunset cruise booked through The Old House was disappointing since the guide was most reluctant to explain anything or point things out unless she was asked a direct question."

"I loved the access to the riverfront and the premises and room were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was plentiful, WiFi worked well. Seeing a bushbuck in the garden at night was priceless and so was the sunset birdsong. Staff, whilst always professional and friendly, just didn't seem happy."
