"The welcome at the hotel was very heartfelt. The personnel were really attentive and provided us with rooms which were big and spacious. The view from both the rooms were exceptional. The breakfast had a lot of variety and the dinner was tasty."

"Wangdue Eco Lodge is a lovely place tucked high above the Dzong, with amazing views from the room that really make the stay special. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout. Dinner and breakfast were simple but perfectly adequate. The rooms are very spacious, though they could benefit from a few extra touches to make them feel cosier, as they felt a little empty. Overall, a pleasant stay with beautiful views and a peaceful setting."

"The hotel is clean and modern, and while it's a little further away from the centre of Thimphu this usually won't matter since you need a driver to do most things anyway. My room was comfortable, with a heater and heated mattress to stay cosy on the colder nights. The staff were friendly and helped me book tours and taxis. The food was good and the portions were large. It was a little too cold to use when I visited but the rooftop lounge looked lovely as well. All in all I think this hotel is a great choice for the price."
