Bed and breakfasts a Xipre

"To start with, the location is not only excellent (right in the middle of historical Viterbo, walking distance to most things), but you also have parking inside (and space for normal-sized cars too), which can be a life saver when travelling by car. Nice (and very clean) room, and for a very reasonable price (have been to city accommodations half as good for twice the price). Also provided disposable indoor slippers, which is instantly a +1. Lastly, can mention that the owner also has a nearby restaurant (c. 2min walk), called La Chimera, which I can strongly recommend. I do not normally give 10/10 unless very deserving, i.e. going above and beyond, but this place deserves it."

The host cannot speak much English, but make it up through effort and enthusiasm, so you will still understand in the end (with or without Google translate). Breakfast was ok, but almost only sweets, so some less sugary stuff as well could be good. Some of the toiletries just lasted, so not a big issue, but if providing more then would not have to ration. Can also be a bit difficult to find (more so since some streets are currently closed-off due to construction).

"Quiet location on Varkala's South Cliff with only 5 minute walk to the beach. We booked a room with outdoor patio and really enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings. The room was really spacious and beautifully decorated. Also loved the outdoor shower! The highlight is definitely the swimming pool, which can be enjoyed at all times of the day thanks to the shade from the trees. The landscaping has been so well thought out. It truly felt like a little bit of luxury staying here and we loved it!"

Potser faltaria una pica al bany, ja que almenys a la nostra habitació només hi havia el lavabo i la dutxa. Aquesta tenia una aixeta baixa per rentar-te la cara, les mans, les dents..... però era incòmode i et mullaves els peus.

"Our room faced the water. Great view. The room is spacious and comfortable. We stayed in a room before we rented the full house with a group of friends. Despite it being 5 rooms, sharing one bathroom, it never felt crowded. Good value for an otherwise expensive travel destination. The bus stop is right by the house and there was always available public parking."

No hay nada que no me gusto. Lo encontre marsvillos. Todos lugares atraen personas de distintos gustos...si te gusta una experiencia personal en una casa de historio que transmite cultura y preocupacion, esto es

"The room was simple but comfortable and warm. The hosts were nice. The place has a soul and history so that was pretty special."

There was a group that arrived without booking and there was not enough food, so the host had to go shopping and the dinner was late. There was enough food for everyone but not much variety for warm dishes, comparing with other guesthouses on the trail. The guesthouse is located off the main trail and the trail is a bit tricky.

It was great ro have kettle in the room too. Place is very clean. My stay in Marsaxlokk was planned last minute but I really enjoyed 3 night spent in Fisherman's Cove Guesthouse."

És cert que, con havíem llegit als comentaris, la humitat acumulada passa factura i l'habitació agafa a estones una mica de pudor, però no va ser un gran problema i la vam ventilar amb facilitat. La netedat és impecable. Teníem un preciós lavabo privat exterior, per l'estructura de la casa, que tampoc va ser un problema, al contrari. El darrer dia ens van guardar les motxilles (teníem vol de matinada) i quan vam tornar al vespre a buscar-les ens van deixar dutxar abans d'anar a l'aeroport. Ho vam agrair moltíssim!!! També la gestió per aconseguir-nos un taxi. El personal és molt amable i gens invasiu, cosa que personalment agraïm. L'hotel és ben situat, tant per perdre's pels carrerons d'Stone Town com per anar a la platja per a fer excursions a l'illa de la presó o a la platja de Nakupenda. Repetiríem sense dubtar!"

Everything was great, The only small suggestion would be to offer either thicker blankets or a cozy duvet for extra comfort for those who likes to sleep with the air conditioning but gets super cold easily 😅
