"Melchior et son personnel vous font passer un très agréable séjour et en plus ce sont d'excellents cuisiniers - poissons, viandes, pizzas, ou plats "fusion" - un vrai régal ! Les bungalows sont bien aménagés et décorés avec goût. L'espace extérieur bien que pas très grand est superbement aménagé avec différents petits coins pour discuter ou prendre l'apéro avec d'autres voyageurs... La vue est aussi très agréable avec l'île de rubane en vis à vis. Le port et les petits magasins/Mercado sont à proximité."

"Undoubtedly the most beautiful property on the island, with tended gardens and attractive landscaping. Melchior , the host, is very welcoming and attentive to any questions re activities. He is also a great cook who takes pride in all he offers his guests."
"Every thing about the property was fantastic but Bubaque itself can present difficulties for people with mobility issues…. Rutted paths and ditches. SaldoMar has limited rooms so don’t leave your booking till the last minute. Ferry access is not daily."

"My stay at Mango Lodge was impeccable. The place is ideal for couples or solo travellers looking for an authentic stay with a local vibe. The rooms are clean and comfortable and there is plenty of common areas to relax. The manager is super nice and will make you feel at home. The owners are the same as Cajou Lodge and will be very happy to help organising activities during your stay. Worth checking in advance because the availability of boat transports may depend on the period and the day. On a higher price range, the other property (Cajou Lodge) is the nicest place on the island. Super new, nice swimming pool, nice view, decorated with great taste, and they have a great chef."

"Location was fabulous, just down the road from the Presidential Palace although the road is a little unkempt. An easy walk into the town for restaurants and the main market centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great outside relaxing bar / restaurant."
