"So colourful and interesting a place. The 5 Euro breakfast is a steal deal, took it almost every day. And yes, they serve chocolates, haha. The hosts were extremely nice. My luggage was delayed, yet I found everything ready at hand: the toiletries in the bathroom, utensils and cutlery in the kitchen, etc (which is kind of community-driven and maintained by every onboader.) They've got hostel merch, and tips/suggestions to explore the city as well."

"The concept is very cool, you feel yourself in a camping, in a comfortable one. But it was winter and not far from city center. We really enjoyed to be there comparing to other standard and boring rooms and apartments. And staff is great there, we had a nice conversation in the evening in the bar."
"As in camping there is no sound isolation. And there was a group arrived late at night, so we didn’t slept as well as we wanted. Also some people got up quite early. But they are providing earplugs, I am just not used to them."

"It would be good if the jungle room (we stayed in) had a closed lockable door as it lacks a bit of privacy from other guests passing by as it is presently. This is not the case with any of the other caravans. We would also have loved to hire bikes, but there were no child seat or child bike options for our little ones, and as the next nearest bike hire was much closer to the town centre it made no sense to hire at all unfortunately."

"Treck Hostel is a wonderful and beautiful place to stay at in Gent! The setting and concept of the camping site and caravan’s was really fun, it made me think of a theme park! My girlfriend and I stayed in the Mini Caravan for 3 nights. The beds were comfortable and we had cupboards to store our belongings in. The hostel is 20 minutes away (walking) from the city centre which we found perfect!"
"However, it would get quite warm in the Mini Caravan at night so we opted to sleep with the door open for more air which solved the problem. Also, the top of the cupboard was really sticky for some reason, even my glasses and hair elastics would stick to it."
