"En el context de que t'allotjes en un vaixell, la valoració és molt positiva. La situació queda una mica allunyada del centre (20 minuts a peu) en una zona més aviat residencial i sense gaire serveis. Vam estar allotjats al camarot del capità i és ampli: una zona d'estar amb sofà-llit i TV, una petita cuina amb nevereta, una habitació amb llit gran i pica amb mirall, i un lavabo amb dutxa. La neteja del camarot molt bona. L'esmorzar que et deixa el propietari en una caixa de vimet pel matí és espectacular. A l'arribada tens una taces de café, amb la seva càpsula i la seva galeta lotus esperant-te (i la màquina Nespresso corresponent). Els detalls per part del propietari i l'experiència d'estar en un allotjament únic fan que sigui 100% recomanable."

"Our 10yr old daughter loved staying on a boat ! Only 2 rooms but fine for a night away. Great location 15 min walk to centre of beautiful Ghent. Host was very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable ."

"Absolutely fabulous place to stay on the river in the heart of Ghent. Only an easy 15 min walk to old centre. We had never stayed on a river barge so it was a great experience. Beautifully set up. Warm and cosy. Fantastic comfortable bed. Great shower. Coffee machine. Everything we needed. And wow the breakfast left at the front door each morning is amazing. It’s a river barge so yes there are steep stairs but that’s all part of the fun. Highly recommend for a great centre to explore. Only 3.3km to train station. Free parking with easy instructions. Loved it and thank you. J & J"

"Nice cozy place to sleep while staying at Gent. It was near the city center but away enaugh from the noise. The boat staff received us just in time for our arrival and showed us a map of the city and gave us some basic instructions. They also asked us the time to get our breackfast and they were very quiet and punctual. The breackfast bascket was great. It had lot of things to eat, tasty!!! The bed was great, there was enaugh space and we had hot water every time."

"Potential residents need to accept that you’re staying on a boat, not in a hotel. The facilities are, therefore, basic. Taking a car needs some prep to ensure that you meet the requirements for the LEZ. The walk into town is a good 20 minutes."

"We were given the Sailor room. The boat provided an unusual accommodation option. It was cosy but the bedroom was spacious. The space on the top deck enabled us to sit and watch the world go by. The breakfast was very generous in size and choice. Our host was very pleasant."
