"Lady and Bear Guest House is a true gem in rural Azerbaijan. The location feels secluded - yet it is only about 6 km from the main road and easy to reach. It feels peaceful and private, surrounded by nature, with one of the most beautiful views of the river valley and mountains. The accommodation itself is very clean, comfortable, and well-functioning - simple, modern, authentic, and thoughtful. Everything you need is there, and nothing feels overdone. The owner is super helpful and responsive. A special bonus is a nearby local restaurant run by Eldar - delicious food, generous portions, and affordable prices. Our transfer from Baku arranged by Lady and Bear was comfortable and convenient. We asked the driver to stop by a supermarket on the way to the guest house for some grocery shopping."

"The host received me at 6.30am to make sure that the check-in goes smooth and I am aware of all the entry protocols. The apartment is well equipped, clean and secure. There is a supermarket at the ground floor and plenty of restaurants just 5 min of walk away. Location was great for me since its across the road from Baku Convention Center (my conference venue) and Hayder Aliev Museum. Internet is steady and super fast. I stayed for two weeks without any issues."

"the owner is the best! very welcoming and provided a lot of good information about the apartment and the area. she took me by car to the grocery stores and showed me different shops in the neighborhood. the first night there was no hot water and the owner had left for the countryside. i was out most of the next day so she came back in the evening to fix it. the apartment was immaculate. the bed, pillows, blankets were very comfortable. and sitting out on the balcony was great. there is a huge grocery store nearby with excellent selection of fruits, vegetables, fresh and frozen meats, fresh baked goods, sweets and spices. if you rely on public transport to get around, there are many buses nearby but there is no direct route to the touristy areas"
