Els Apartaments a Fès

"Even if the apartment is located in a building dating probably from the 1980s in Ville Nouvelle, a lot of effort has been made to recreate the atmosphere of a luxury dwelling in the Medina. Excellent location: train station can be reached even on foot in 15-20 minutes, while Borj Fes shopping mall (with a big Carrefour supermarket open till 10 PM) is also a 15 minutes walk away. Petit taxi rank is almost in front of the house. Good interaction with Mr.Abdel who acts as caretaker; he lives on the floor bellow, speaks a fluent French and English and is always ready to help you (he can also find the car and the driver for excursions around Fes at a reasonable price). Very clean. Well equipped kitchen, suitable for some light cooking. Excellent WiFi."

"Location of the apartment isn't indicated correctly on booking.com. In fact, the building is located exactly opposite from the place where booking.com says it is. As in the building there are several staircases, it isn't clear which one leads to the apartment (it's the first on the left as you enter the building). Bad odour coming from the drain in the kitchen and the bathroom (however, it's largely kept under control by plastic covers). A few suggestions to the owner: 1. Make a drawing showing the exact position of the building and indicate the right staircase; 2. Keep the cleaning accessories out of the bath tub and out of sight; 3. Add some toiletries in the bathroom; 4. Replace the battery in the wall clock."

"We spend wonderful three nights in this apartment. The location was good. It had a supermarket Marjane in 2-4 minutes walk. The property area felt safe as there were security outside the property. All the historical sites were in 10 minutes taxi drive. The property owner was very kind and helpful. The apartment itself was better than in pictures. I think the photos need updates. Very cozy, felt like home with its own character. My daughter enjoyed nice wooden chess mate. It also had all the facilities needed for comfortable stay, TV (Amazon prime, YouTube, etc.), stable internet, fridge, washing machine, microwave, etc. The paintings and decorations gave the property unique features. Would definitely recommend going there!"

"Everything was great, maybe just a minor thing to keep in mind - the apartment uses water heater so if you use hot water frequently it may run out."

"Lovely apartment with a beautiful terrace in of the old city if Fes. Being woken by the chirping of the birds was a pleasant surprise and it was nice to relax on the terrace in the evenings."

"We booked this property as a last minute solution as our previous reservation for that night was cancelled. The host communicated well and waited for us until after midnight as our bus had a delay. We only slept for about 6 hours and left as we had to catch another bus so we cannot really rate all features, but the beds were comfortable, host was friendly and the location was practical."

"Cannot really tell as we only stayed for about 6 hours and left."

"La atencion del personal muy bien. La casa en general estaba bien. Siendo grupo grande la casa es grande. Salón grande. Un poco alejado del centro"

"Las camas son muy muy muy duras deberían de ponerle algo porque dormir era muy incómodo. El baño con una cortina de ducha sería mejor. Y las persianas no bajan en alguna habitación."
