"We love the area, close to the ocean, the view is fantastic. We lived in Trou deau Douce 25 years ago at Valmarin. It was wonderful to be back and these apartments has so much potential, but unfortunately it’s not taking care of. The cleaning lady was very kind."

The apartments weren’t cleaned when we arrived. The underfloor apartment was full of black mold. The pool is not taking care of. No sunbeds. You could easily do a quick renovation, do some painting and take care of these apartments and it would be wonderful. Now we love this area and has lot of friends in Trou deau Douce so we wanted to stay there. We had no contact with the owners, they didn’t answer us, but the housekeeper/cleaning lady was nice and answered, she come and clean when we asked for it.

"This is not an ordinary tourist trap place - beautiful hotel with stunning view from the room and terrace, surrounded by wild nature. The road to the parking is a bitnarrow as you drive through an authentic village but nothng dramatic for an ordinary driver. The hotel is a bit older, but everything is perfectly clean and working in order. All you need you can find in the apartment + fully equipped kitchen. Very warm welcome on reception just wraps up the experience. The stay reminded me of old times in grandparents house deep in forrests, amazing experience!"

More kitchen stuff would be great and a more cleaner bathroom.

"Good location for Front Beach. Many restaurants and cafes close by. Comfortable beds, good Aircon, strong WiFi. Quiet street. Friendly staff."

"L’apartament és molt cèntric, net, decorat amb bon gust i espaiós per un grup de 6-8 persones. Hem estat molt còmodes. A sota hi ha un Irish Pub on hi vam dinar un parell de vegades i on es recullen les claus que també són molt amables i es menja molt bé. El personal de neteja també molt bé i l’amfitrió molt amable i disponible en tot moment. Ho recomano el 100%."

"Quiet neighbourhood but not secluded. Close to Blue Bay, very close to Kokomo Beach for great snorkelling early in the day, and the flamingo habitat was always fun to check out. Grocery store was a 5 minute drive away. Many restaurant choices a short drive away. 10-15 mins from downtown Willemstad, with plenty of parking near the Fort. Ed was a wonderful host! And the private pool at the end of a long hot day was a blessing."

Could not find coffee filters for the coffee machine in any store…:)
