Occupying a prime position in the little coastal village of Salt Rock, the Petite Provence offers B&B accommodation just 10 minutes' from Durban Airport. This French-styled property offers a choice of 15 guest rooms. All of the guest rooms are spacious in size, feature en-suite bathrooms and a range of actual amenities including DVD players and satellite TV. Guests can also enjoy lovely views over the tropical gardens, park and sea from the privacy of their own balcony or patio. Your hosts at this friendly little B&B pride themselves on their warm hospitality and attention to detail. A generator provides electricity in the event of an outage. Guests can enjoy the fresh garden flowers in their room and welcome drink upon arrival. B&B guests can also enjoy a freshly-prepared breakfast on the property’s shaded terrace each morning. The Petite Provence is a short 300 metre walk from the main beach in Salt Rock and the restaurants and cafés that make up this quiet beach resort.

"Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The breakfasts were well prepared and the kitchen staff were lovely."
"Parking is very tight. The water drainage (room 11) in the shower flows the wrong way so it can be tricky to avoid flooding the place. Since there is no water mixer, it takes time to get the water temperature correct. Turning the water off and back on because of poor drainage is not ideal for a 4 night stay in luxury accommodation."

"The place is very close to the beach making it easy to walk there (if you want to) and other interesting places around. The staff was really friendly and helpful. It was raining when we arrived and they came to get us with umbrellas, very considerate. The breakfast spot is so gorgeous gives an international feel. The garden and pool were also nice. We enjoyed chilling and swimming there."
"We struggled with parking, it was not enough for everyone booked there. Not a lot of breakfast options and the coffee they had was also not great. They have Nespresso but it’s charged extra."

"Kaijaiki is a true gem! I have stood in unit 4 which was super spaciouse, had a lovely well equipped kitchenett and a beautiful, tranquil view onto the courtyard. The next door coffee-store where breakfast is served is so cozy and food is deliciouse. Manager and staff go over and above to make my stay comfortable. Highly recommend it."
