Perched on the hillside in historic Knysna with and Knysna Lagoon views, this lodge features a furnished terrace and a garden with Braai facilities. The accommodation at Lagoon lodge has a shared seating area on the main balcony and garden area. Each room has a satellite TV, mini fridge and a private bathroom. Some rooms have a balcony with garden and lagoon views. A 3 course breakfast is served daily in the dining room or outside on the main balcony overlooking the lagoon. Several sala d'bufet continentals and bars are establerted along the Knysna Marina, a 5-minute drive away. Guests can make use of the Braai/BBQ facilities in the garden. Indoors, Lagoon Lodge has a seating area decorated with wooden furnishings, paintings, plants and vintage-style lounges. Plettenberg Bay and Robberg Nature Reserve are a 40-minute drive away by car. Knysna Railway Station is a 20-minute walk away.

"The hotel is located in a peaceful area with a beautiful view of the estuary and is not close to the Waterfront, though if you have a car this won’t be a problem. Uber is also easy to find there. Breakfast is delicious, and I highly recommend the "world-famous inn omelets." Mr. Appel is not only very attentive but also extremely charismatic. We highly recommend it."
