This 5-star luxury tented lodge is surrounded by ancient trees and wildlife in the Kruger National Park. Decorated in Colonial style, its luxury tents feature private verandas overlooking the seasonal river. With beautiful teak floors, the air-conditioned tents of Hamiltons Tented Camp are furnished with pieces that remind of the safaris of the early 20th century. The beds are draped with mosquite nets and the bathrooms feature a free-standing bath. The cuisine includes a wide choice of fresh produce prepared daily. Hamiltons boasts a refreshing outdoor pool, with sunbeds overlooking the African bush and river, or schedule a relaxing massage. Two daily safaris in an open safari vehicle are included. Birding and guided bush walks can be requested. Skuzkuza Airport is 63 km away.

"It was a fabulous location and experience. Everyone was happy, friendly and accommodating. The 'tents' were excellent and the food was very good and varied. Our safari guide, Ryan, was knowledgable, entertaining, and a pleasure to be with. In short, he was exceptional. His amazing sundowners, created and served from the folding table on the front of the Jeep were the highlight of our evenings."

"Tho it’s all inclusive the selection of red wines and alcohol included was cheap considering the price we paid and the easy availability of delicious South African wines, gins, vodkas etc! No WIFI and no urgency to get it reinstated. The staff did drive us to Imbali as needed and I appreciated that."
"One of the best and most luxurious stays ever. Awesome safaris. Animals right on doorstep coming to drink from river. Cannot reccomend this place any more highly! Staff was so great. Each meal was a fine dining experience. We forgot our passports in safe and only realised when we got to Skukuza. They went through effort of meeting us halfway to give us the forgotten items. Literally going the extra mile!"

"Kaijaiki is a true gem! I have stood in unit 4 which was super spaciouse, had a lovely well equipped kitchenett and a beautiful, tranquil view onto the courtyard. The next door coffee-store where breakfast is served is so cozy and food is deliciouse. Manager and staff go over and above to make my stay comfortable. Highly recommend it."
