"We spent 3 amazing days in Matevulu Lodge it was the most amazing experience we had on the island with my partner! Gaelle the owner was so helpful with all the information we needed about the island and the culture, she is so well knowledge about the island! We loved the fact that in the lodge are only 4 cotteges well separated so you have enough privacy and it's not busy with a lots of people. We were waking up to the amazing ocean view, the acommodation was spotless clean. We met other groups of people they were staying at the same lodge and it was lovely to have a glass of wine with others and make a new friendships! The breakfast were simple usually the bread with local jam and butter, local tropical fruit coffee, tea, if you need more food I would recommned to buy more in the city that's what we did."

"Where do I even start? Our stay at Matevulu Lodge was absolutely fantastic. The location is perfect, with beautiful views all around. Gaelle was incredible, friendly, helpful, and so knowledgeable. She went above and beyond helping us with bookings for activities, taxis, and anything else we needed. The lodge itself has everything you could ask for: on-site hammocks to relax in, a fully functioning shared kitchen with a stove and oven, and kayaks and paddleboards that we used to explore the nearby Riri Bluehole. This accommodation, along with Gaelle’s amazing hospitality, made our first trip and honeymoon in Vanuatu one to truly remember. We will definitely be back and will stay at Matevulu Lodge again without hesitation."

"Our host Galee was simply outstanding!! Nothing was a bother; she was on call anytime we needed help or had a question, Galle also arranged fresh seafood delivery to our door! She even helped us with our lack of tech knowledge in using our international sim card. PS this lodge is beautiful and has everything you need and more...Highly recommend 👌"

"The bungalow are right in front of the water, and fully equipped with everything you need. Gaelle has been a very nice and friendly host, and provides kayaks, snorkeling gears, cooking equipment, towels and much more for free to all the guests, which is not given!"

"Absolutely nothing, the lodge is a bit further up north, so it’s recommended to rent a car if you want a hassle-free trip"

"Location of this property is near unmatched - only metres away from the waterfront. There were an abundance of activities to do near the lodge, but at the lodge also. Access to blue holes; kayaking; paddle boarding; snorkelling; games and much more. The accomodation is tidy, thorough, and well managed. Kitchen facilities are well thought out and very functional."

"Without your own car, getting to and from places is a challenge. We hitch-hiked on a few occasions as taxi’s and buses are few and far between and cost an arm and a leg to jump in on."

"All of it , Matevulu lodge thinks of everything , the share kitchen faculties has everything you could think of , the accomodation has fly spray and coils and lighter supplied, it is magical and I highly recommend staying here . The host Gaelle is beautiful and very helpful ."
