"Great small hotel in a great location in a quiet street near the lake in the old quarter. Location was perfect for exploring Hanoi. Staff were exceptional, very welcoming and always available. I organised a trip to Ha Long bay which Emma sorted out before we arrived. The rooms were comfortable and very clean and the roof top bar was lovely with great views. Buffet breakfast had a lot of choice and also could order freshly prepared omelettes, eggs etc. A lovely hotel and would definitely recommend!"

"Great location, easy to walk to train street , notre dame and lake, surrounded by cafes, coffee shops and restaurants. V clean , fantastic roof top bar, helpful staff and good breakfast. Good base for trips to Ninh Binh ( 2 hrs away) and Ha long bay ( 2.5hrs away)"

"Location. Staff were friendly and helpful when engaged. The room was a decent size with a balcony door and view of the street. The rooftop bar was comfortable."

"Breakfast restaurant in the basement could be a bit hit and miss. Tables were not cleared quickly enough and on one occasion all the available tables still had used dishes on them and it was not due to lack of staff."

"We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, then went to Halong Bay for 2 nights and came back to the Sunline Central Hotel for a further 4 nights. Hani on the reception desk treated us like valued guests and thanked us for coming back to the hotel again. She was very helpful and always greeted us with a smile and asked us about our day. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful at the hotel. The location in the old quarter was great and in a relatively quieter street."

"During our second stay the room layout was different which meant we both didn’t have a bed side table. A very minor issue that we worked around."

"First of all the hotel is located in a quiet location. Restaurants are just across the road and a very easy walk to centre of Hanoi. We would highly recommend anyone wanting this location and helpful staff. Breakfast was great. A large selection of hot and cold food to have. Bathrooms were a little small. The staff and manager really made for a great experience staying at this Hotel. A special thanks to the 2 staff Hani and Jasmine who made our day each day. Always happy and helpful. were very informative and friendly."

"Located close to the lake and main attractions in the old quarter (opposite Pizza 4Ps). Staff on reception were very helpful, even tracking down a phone we lost and having it returned. Our rooms (honeymoon suite and family room) were spacious and front facing. Comfy beds."
