"We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located on a beautiful, long sandy beach where we mostly were alone or with up to 10 people. And at the same time, it is close to the centre with many dining options. Our room was spacious, with a beautiful sea view, and comfy beds. Breakfast was ok, though it was focused on Vietnamese clientele - but there were eggs, bread, vegetables, pancakes etc. so no complaints. Helpful staff at the reception."

"The staff (maids, gardeners) could show more respect to guests in terms of keeping the noise low in the morning. The hotel got really noisy early, since 6 am, so our sleep was severely disturbed. I think that management of the hotel could work on this a bit."

"We stayed here in 2006 so were pleased it is still the same with upgraded facilities"

"They did not have complimentary pushbikes (unlike in 2006). This made it inconvenient to get around unless you have licence to rent a motorbike. We had to rent push bikes in town but even then there were very few for the high demand."

"The resort is stunningly beautiful. White sand, turquoise crystal-clear water, palm trees... A perfect place to relax! The beach was virtually empty during the day, as most of the guests were Vietnamese and they like to stay out of the sun. Breakfast was ok, some Western options among many Asian. The room was great, clean and spacious with a lovely sea view, and there was Netflix on the TV. Sometimes Netflix would crash, but when we called reception they were able to fix the problem most of the time. All in all, we would gladly stay there again. Restaurant recommendation: Riso Amaro! Italian guy opened it 5 months ago - rooftop, great atmosphere, delicious food, Italian with a Vietnamese twist. A 20min walk away but so worth it!"

"We didn't feel completely welcome there as Western people. Some staff were friendly and spoke English, other staff weren't so friendly and seemed to try to avoid us. Breakfast was until 9.30 am, but sometimes they cleared it away before that, which we found unacceptable. We knew from reviews that they didn't have cushions for the deck chairs, but after a day of lying on hard wood I thought I'd ask anyway. And they do in fact have cushions, hidden away in a little "cave" by the pool. You would never find them without knowing and also, staff would never tell you if you don't ask... Even though they see people lying on deck chairs with no cushions. We were glad they had them, but a) the location of them way highly inconvenient (beware of red ants!) and b), every day you had to get them and put them back. They have beach towels by the pool, which we also only found out on our last day..."

"Great hotel situated in a beautiful location, right on a stunning beach, apparently the only hotel situated on the actual beach. Friendly staff, great cocktails & a huge pool with plenty of deck chairs including on the beach. It’s very authentic with most guests from Vietnam so limited English speaking staff other than reception & Western style choices for breakfast but still plenty to choose from the buffet. After seeing the view, we immediately upgraded to an ocean view room, definitely worth the extra small cost. Would definitely stay again & recommend, can’t wait to go back to Con Dao 🏝️"

"First they gave us 2 rooms road view which are noisy in the morning with scooters trunk. Then we moved to nicer rooms close to réception with direct pool access (with extra money). On saturday some drunk locals shout at midnight in the hotel and waked us up and the staff didnt do anything to stop this (so I did). I wish they keep people calm in the hotel, good rest is the highest value of a hotel for us. I d say best room are the ones with sea view upstairs so ask for it or go elsewhere"

"Good location. Right on the beach which was nice, clean and safe for a swim. Straightforward walk to small day trip jetty / Wung tau ferry 'terminal'and restaurants / town. Also good availability of inexpensive taxis. Plenty of kayaks, SUP's etc available for a modest fee at the beach, (Twin kayak VND300,000 for an hour). Pool decent with outdoor showers from beach. Food was ok for effectively a three star hotel and there are a number of restaurants 10 minutes or so walk away or in the small main town with some good fresh seafood options. Hotel airport free transfer minibus was regular and efficient. Rooms all have aircon and clean / comfortable for star rating. Would come back again one day."

"Could do with a few simple rainy day indoor activities such as table football or table tennis etc. No gym, but we didnt try the public sports hall across the road where there are also a few young children's free swings etc For families some Children's entertainment would be a bonus."

"This is not a luxury-style resort, but a typical Vietnamese one, with typical Vietnamese athmosphere. The place is very quiet and most of the guests are Vietnamese, which can be considereded also as a big plus. The beach is really big, beautiful, and always empty. Swimming is very safe. The restaurant is also good and open all day. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. Taxis or rent motorbikes are just outside. All the main touristic spots can be easily reached with few minutes taxi. The shuttle service to the airport is free and professional. The dimensions and cleanness of the room were great. This is a really recommended place, if you're looking for easy and relaxing athmosphere."
