There are no mosquito nets. When you don’t like using AC it could be a problem.

"The house was very charming. The views were gorgeous. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the gas fireplace! The kitchen was outfitted with lots of dishes, serving dishes, utensils and everything you can think of. We appreciated that."

The kitchen was very cold. The hot tub was older and had a bit of a musty smell and all the jets didnt work. But it was great to have it in a screened in porch. Theres only 1 main bathroom and 1 ensuite. So if you dont mind people walking into your bedroom to get to the 2nd bathroom.

"This villa is large and comfortable. There’s a perfect kitchen with a variety of utensils for cooking. Unfortunately, our time was limited, but we appreciated the amenities and the location close to the ocean."

"Very spacious, very private. It was comfortable. We were kindly met at San Marino bus station and taken to the villa. Also kindly taken to the supermarket first to buy some food as the villa is very isolated. Taxi was recommended to us, and was reliable and comfortable. The area was amazing to visit. Information was sent to us to answer our questions. Prompt response."

The villa was further away from the main area of San Marino than expected. As we did not have a car, we were reliant on a taxi, which worked out very expensive. There were a few items in the sink which looked as if intended to be washed up but forgotten. We struggled with sorting out the TV and also finding the right adapter for our chargers and could not find a familiar kettle. These were little things but frustrating after a long journey. It would have been helpful to have an information booklet to explain some of these things so we did not have to keep asking our host.

The location is a bit out of the way. Only one shop was nearby. So if you rent, it’s better to have your own means of transportation.

"The host -Dumisa was very friendly and even though we had issues at the boarder he waited for us to arrive very late at night and escorted us to the place. The house was spacious, clean and good value for money."

Comfort of beds

"Everything was just beautiful. We had hot weather but it was cool inside and the pool was great. Thé location was close to Normanville for morning swims. We loved the surrounding gardens and eating outside under the grapevines. Everything was good quality and well thought out. It was friendly and relaxing. We loved the personal art and objects collection around the house and the way it was so carefully restored. It was a privilege to be able to stay there with our friends from Sweden who also loved the experience."

There was nothing we didn’t like

"The great location by the beach and the lovely house with great housekeeping and landscaping staff."

The check in process and receiving the keys could be improved. That process was not clear and we had to wait before a closed door.

"Sehr großes Grundstück mit Sauna, Whirlpool, Pool, große Wiese, Gemeinschaftsraum draußen mit einem Kühlschrank. Sehr großes Gebäude mit gut ausgestatteter Küche, Billardtisch, Tischfußball. Ruhige Umgebung und alles ist eingezäunt. Nette Gastgeberin."

Beleuchtung draußen ist etwas wenig.

"Es un lloc peculiar. Varem estar a la habitació 5, que disposava de una terrassa amb molt d'encant. he de dir que el lloc era millor que que es podia entreveure a les fotografies. La piscina era força relaxant. Neteja cada 2 dies, la qual cosa la torbe correcte. Disponibilitat que et portin al sopar al vespre si el reserves amb antelació, tot un detall, la veritat."

Per intentar aportar algo.. si es posses mosquiteres a totes les finestres es podria deixar obertes totes les finestres i disfrutar de l'aire pur. Nosaltres obriem l'aire acondicionat peruqe hi havia papallones, mosques, mosquits que entraven, ja que es un entorn molt natural. Pero tal i com estava estava perfecte

"j avais besoin d un lieu propre sur Kati, propre et comfortable. Et ce logement correspondait parfaitement a mes attentes. L hote est top."

"We were group of friends with families, so we were very excited about place, surrounding, distance to the sea - everything was great! Kids had a lot of acticities, even to collect shells or pine cones. Every room had separate bathrooms, kitchen equipment, tools for barbeque (we need to brought only charcol for cooking)."

It small thing, that do not efect my valuation - sofa was a bit to hard for adults, would be great to have additional mattress :)

"Very clean, lovely setting, good size, pool lovely and private."

The walk to restaurants was a little risky as parts had no pavement and some of it is on a busy road. This of course has nothing to do with the property per se but just an observation.

"Stunning views close to the beach. I loved the house it was equipped with a modern kitchen and AC in the living room. The owners were so kind and provided a thorough explanation of the grounds."

"The place was clean and well kept. David our host was very attentive and helpful for anything we needed. He picked us up at the airport and showed us around Roatan. It was close to West End but not loud like staying on the strip."

"This property is in a stunning location and perfect for a winter stay. The whole property is phenomenally well equipped and very tasteful. Photos do not do it justice. Be prepared however - you will need a car (or arrange other transport) if you want to go anywhere including a local shop (in Lyngseidat) - we knew this and had organised other transport but do your research!!"
