"The Hostal is an oasis of peace, warmth, color and familiarity right along the only "main street" in the little coastal town of Puerto Colombia along the Caribbean coast in Venezuela. The staff and the owner, Claudia are all exceedingly friendly, helpful and industrious. The rooms are nicely but scarcely equipped and offer rest and quiet when needed. The pool is a highlight to beachgoers that want to cool off and get a respite from all the sand and salt from time to time. The guys from the restaurant are really eager and very good cooks in their own right, you'll be able to do a little tour of all the typical foods of the Venezuelan coast for a really fair price."

"Very relaxed and beautiful apartment. Short walk to shops and the beach. Nice big swimming pool with green parrots overhead. Whole place very clean and included the little things that make a big difference in my opinion. Such as bathroom things like shampoo and body wash or a big bottle of drinking water. Our host was very helpful and was contactable if ever needed. Will definitely recommend to family and friends."
