Timur was flexible with our early arrival and departure and nothing was ever a problem. We felt very at home and would come back to stay here again if we are ever back in Samarkand!"

"We had the most pleasent stay at the guest house. Timur and his family were just the kindest and they treated us like family members. They expected us with tea, served us a very good breakfast and made sure we got our train in time. We even got a small breakfast take away since we had to leave at 5am. The guest house is located perfectly and is only a 5 minutes walk away from Registan. Highly recommended and the best accommodation we stayed in Usbekistan. Thanks Timur and family!"

"The best place i stayed in, in Uzbekistan. I extended my stay by 2 days, I liked being there so much. Mr Timur and his lovely wife were incredibly welcoming and really looked after me. Breakfast in the central courtyard was always tasty, plentiful and varied. The room was clean, included a bathroom. A big bonus of the guesthouse is that it is very central, easy to find and just a five minute walk from the Registan, you could not ask for better. There is a small shop a few doors down to buy water etc though water is available at the guesthouse. When I left, Mr Timur called a local taxi firm that was the same price as a Yandex taxi and saw me off. Such lovely, helpful and friendly people, highly recommend."

"Timur and his family are some of the kindest people you’ll meet on your trip. They are really helpful and they speak good enough English to give recommendations etc. Lovely breakfast. I had a bad episode of food poisoning and they really helped out by bringing me tea and some bread when I started to feel better. Rooms are comfortable but don’t expect a hotel room, it’s truly a guest house (as it should be). 10/10 would recommend."

"The owners Timur and Shakhlo were amazing and did everything they could for us to have a great time in Samarkand. The Uzbek breakfast was freshly prepared every morning just for us and was exceptional. The room was cleaned every day and the bed was large and comfortable. The location of the guest house is perfect and just a few meters away from Registan square. If we ever come back to Samarkand we would stay at Timur the Great again!"
