"Staying with this wonderful family is an authentic experience of Tashkent home life, & it comes with generous Uzbek hospitality. Paying a little more for breakfast is well worthwhile. The hosts have modified the home to make it more amenable to guests, & have more work in store. The family are observant Muslims, so guests should come understanding that they are staying in a halal household. However that is not difficult. Staying with this family is a wonderful experience that’s a whole lot more real than anything the tourist brochures will show you. It is also excellent value for money."
