"Well located: 20 min to the train station by car and 5 min from the Gour Emir on foot. Great starting point to visit Samarkand. Our room had a view on the Gour Emir and you can spot the Registan from afar. Our host, the guesthouse owner, was lovely and super accommodating. She even offered an earlier breakfast when we had to leave the hotel before it usually started. Breakfast (not a buffet fyi) was lovely and complete. Room was spacious and comfy."

"The Crystal Guest House is well located (in vicinity of Amir Temur Sqare and close to Registan). The ambiance is genuine and amazing, so the rooms. They welcomed me very friendly and the Check-In went smooth. They offered me the choice between two rooms and also checked me in 1h earlier. The room was clean and the bathroom well equipped. The AC was new as well as the entire interior. I tried the breakfast once, so they served me a variety of different food and made an omelette as well. The hotel was quite and the WiFi worked well, they even provided me an early check-out (like in 4 a.m.). On top of that they gave me a registration declaration (for visits more than 3 days). For me a high standard stay with a staff, which really cares about your comfort."

"The hotel is surrounded by greenery and offers a calm, relaxing atmosphere. It is about a 12–15 minute walk to the main road, where you can find supermarkets, fast-food outlets, and various restaurants. The TV Tower is also within walking distance, just over 20 minutes away. All staff members were warm, approachable, and efficient, which greatly enhanced the overall experience."

"Beautiful location and a more friendly owner is hard to find! Shodman ate dinner with us, told us about the area, took us on a fantastic hike and helped organize our trip back to Samarkand. The food was among the better we had in Uzbekistan."

"We had the best time ever! The family is very kind and fun, we played volleyball with the kids and felt right at home. The rooms are cozy and private. The mountain view is also a plus. The mum cooks all the meals and is an incredible cook. The variety of the meals is remarkable! We definitely recommend it and cant wait to go back! They also took care of every activity we wanted to do. We already miss it!"
