"The guesthouse was great, the only thing stopping a 10 star review were the beds. Beds were so hard that our arms went numb every hour and woke us up. The guesthouse kindly added some more mattresses but it was still too hard to be comfortable. So we had 3 nights of bad sleep that unfortunately affected our time in Samarkand."

"I had a very short and comfortable stay, it's quite a traditional Uzbek stay which I liked, in terms of the decor and that it's in someone's home. They helped with recommendations and organising a Yandex at 3am and they let me check in early. Only a few mins walk from Registan Square."

"You have to go down a dark and unlit alleyway to get to it. I felt fairly safe walking to and fro but I may not have booked it if I had realised."

"Very friendly hosts. Amir spoke English really well and got in touch with us before arrival to make sure everything ran smoothly. We were very well received. The guesthouse is in a good location, near the Registan square but not by the busy and noisy main road. The room looks new, well taken care of and is comfortable. Upon request, we were even brought two extra pillows. The room has a bathroom ensuite, which is small but with a convenient layout. Smart use of space! Shower was comfortable, as the water pressure was good and warm water was plentiful. The floor is slippery in the shower, but a set of slippers were available for more stability. Luggage storage after check out was facilitated, which is a great service for us to explore the city without luggage after our check out."

"We do not have any negative points. The accommodation is 100% recommended. We do have two suggestions for a little more comfort: 1 - Some sort of night light/bed light, so the bright main light doesn't always need to be on when one might wanna sleep while the other still wants to read a bit or something. 2 - The mattresses were the hardest and most sturdy ones we have ever encountered. We noticed that study mattresses are the norm in Uzbekistan, but for many people it is a challenge to sleep on. Some soft-top cover of some sort would be a great addition, as you would give guests the option to go tough or soften down a bit."
