"Excellent apartment. Very clean, well equipped, comfortable bed, nice big terrace. It has a personal touch; e.g. an interesting library instead of depersonalized decorations. It is located close to a Parliament building (which at the time of our stay hosted the 5th Montevideo Bienal), the university area and some alternative cultural spaces (excellent exhibition in Contemporary Art Space – EAC, located in the former Miguelete prison). The owner was really very kind."

"Prédio antigo, mas apartamento reformado. Bonito, bem mobiliado. O Anfitrião é atencioso. Bom chuveiro. Bem à frente do mercado agrícola, que tem algumas opções de restaurantes e mercados que ajudam bastante. O prédio tem boa área comum, com piscina, academia e sala de jogos. Muito bom."

"Really enjoyed our stay at the Midland Hotel. We are travelling around Uruguay and the Midland was a wonderful oasis. It’s all inclusive, but unlike some (in other countries) you always felt that everything was fresh and well prepared. The Asado was a great option- and the included drinks options were excellent (good brands) , with the ability to trade up to a nice bottle of wine at a reasonable price. The view is lovely over the lake and the room was excellent."
