"Beautiful, scenic and quiet, right on the shores of the lake. Food was lovely and the staff were warm and welcoming."

"Breakfast was fine and the staff were nice. Nice locatin and a nice alternative to geting away from kampala without a long drive."
"The beds were a little small."
"Amazing environment, quiet away from business of Kampala, a great haven. My room was very nice, food was great, sitting by lake in mornings or evenings was memorable. Internet connection was good. So many species of birds can be spotted. Location is good if you can travel on a boda which take 20-30 min to town"
"A power cut on first night but that is part of Uganda. Food service is a bit slow for dinner but they cook from scratch"
"To me that was the extreme highlight if we are talking about accomodation on my trip through Uganda. - It is direclty located at the Victoria lake! - I was at this time the only guest and got an upgrade w/o extra payment. I had a large room, more like an appartment - first floor, living room with 2 (!) sofas (no TV - not necessary, outside it is much more interesting! - Believe it!) - - small kitchen, nice bathroom, second floor sleeping room, one singel bed, one doulbe bed. good matress, 230 Volt plus local 120 Volt (!) Froom the sleeping room as well as from the living room, direct view onto Victoria lake! - Large garden with an artifical pool plus a nature pool! - Very good breakfast, very good international kitchen a la carte! - Luckily the monkeys - approx. 20 (!) were around - which are living right and left from the hotel in the mangroves. - To me it is a very must go for 2 days and 2 nights!"
"Depends on how you see it. - If you really want to to go to the centre of Kampala, you´re are far away! But the have a recommandation for a taxi driver, who charges very fare rates, is very friendly and very helpful, and if he should drop you and wait for2 hours, he will do (just give him an extra tip!)"
"The lodge has a great view of the lake, nice facilities for relaxing and good food while still being close to Kampala. The staff was very kind, as well as the cat. The breakfast is very good for 10usd, you get eggs, bacon, sausage, fruits, juice, tea/coffee, veggies, cereal, yogurt and bread. We let the staff know in advance what we would like to eat and at what time, so we never got the issue of waiting for the food for a long time. The pool is very nice as well, nice sitting areas outside. We stayed in the tower room, which is big enough for two. It has great views. The wifi was working very well. The also offer a couple of activities from the lodge. I previously did the walking tour and my friends the bicycle tour, and we all loved it."
"This only applies to the two room: while the tower room is a studio it would be nice to at least have a shower curtain between the bathroom and bedroom area to add a little bit of intimacy. Perhaps the lodge could improve the cleanliness of its lake shores, there was plastic bottles and other type of trash on the lodge shore. But that is a reality in a lot of places."
"Very good, especially the yoghurt and brown toast."
"There was no access to the balcony outside our room. We wanted somewhere to sit outside easily reached from the room. A shame as this existed in some o f the other rooms."
"Second time staying here. Lush grounds, beautiful view of the lake, and soothing sounds of frogs and birds. Feels like being out in nature even though you're technically still in Kampala. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was comfortable and a good value for the money. Good breakfast."

"The property is very beautiful, green, and on the water. It's off the beaten path and feels like an oasis in the middle of the bustling Kampala. The folks that work at the location are all friendly, warm, and accommodating. It's quiet and serene during the days and the sunsets are unmatched overlooking Lake Victoria. The pool is beautiful and feels like you're swimming in nature heaven. It's a truly beautiful location and there's small details that add a nice touch. The SNUG, the properties restaurant and bar, is a really cute Irish pub vibe with couches and a mini-library available. It's a very sweet place."
"Worth noting that it gets really loud at night. I'm not sure what animal comes out and makes a loud squacking sound but if you're a light sleeper it may not be for you or make sure to bring supplies for blocking the sound. Everything runs on Ugandan time (which means not on time) so make sure to plan ahead when ordering a car or heading out. It's not centrally located, which is just a warning. The roads close and change all the time so it's not always easy to find with a driver and it's necessary to be on top of the driver charges, because them searching for the hotel will rack up."
"Very welcoming by the lovely host Joan. The service was great! Special thanks to Sophia who arranged our meals and activities. Make sure not to miss on some of the best pizza made by chef Nancy. Great vibes in the tree house for nature lovers ! Enjoyed our anniversary weekend 💕"
