Overlooking the Indian Ocean, Estructura Hotelera South Beach Resort is located in the Kigamboni area, known as South Beach. It features a large outdoor pool, a hot tub, and a sandy beach. South Beach Resort has air-conditioned rooms with a balcony overlooking the sea, the garden or the pool. Each room has a seating area, and a TV. Chawaba Camping Village is surrounded by luscious greenery and offers huts with a mattress and mosquito curats. Rifu’s Bar and Grill serves international, Indian, Chinese and local Tanzanian dishes, as well as relaxing drinks. Whisky Shack is located close to the beach and huts, and offers refreshing beverages. Guests can choose from a variety of activities, including dancing, volleyball, and swimming. Younger guests can use the children’s playground. Kigamboni ferry is 8 km, while Dar es Salaam Zoo and Dar es Salaam city centre are about 8 km away. Residència South Beach has an in house DJ who plays local and international music hits on the weekends and on public holidays from the afternoon until late along with entertainment such as acrobats, dancers and children's entertainment.

"It was not easy to get service on the tables near the beach. The sun beds did not have cushions so were uncomfortable to lay on."

"The property offers access to a very nice and almost empty beach and has a large outdoor pool. Staff are nice and welcoming. They allowed us a late checkout. The food is good, although a bit pricey."
"It is in Kigamboni, really far away from everything and the location pin on booking is at the wrong place, most likely by intention (we confronted the staff - they all knew and gave erratic responses. They play music on weekends, beware, the volume is obnoxious and no one seems to enjoy that. The rooms are very dated and are not worth the money they charge."
