"Frankly speaking, this was one of the best places I stayed during my visit to Tanzania. From the moment we arrived, everything was well organized. We informed the hotel that we would arrive late at night, and they arranged pickup from the bus stand, which made our arrival very easy. What really makes this place special is the staff, especially the owner, Daudi, who truly goes above and beyond to make sure guests are comfortable. After a long and stressful safari, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the internet was working well throughout our stay, which was very helpful. The breakfast was also excellent, with pancakes, sausages, eggs, fresh juice, and fruit. Coffee and tea were served on time every morning. I highly recommend The Secret Garden Hotel to anyone visiting Moshi. I will definitely come back again."

"I stayed in KIA lodge the evening before my flight back to the UK after a month in Tanzania. KIA lodge was the perfect place to relax and reflect on my travels. I had read some reviews which complained about cleanliness / shower temperature, but I certainly didn't notice any issues with cleanliness or the showers. I found both my room and the grounds to be well-kept and clean. The staff were so helpful! There were so many options for breakfast and it was delicious. Prices for food was reasonable."

"We had a wonderful stay here on Mafia Island and can highly recommend this place. Yes, it is a little bit outside of the main village but getting around is easy. With a bicycle you can reach the dive centers, shops and restaurants in just a few minutes. Cycling through the sandy paths might feel a bit challenging at first, but once you get the hang of it, it actually becomes a lot of fun. The accommodation itself was exactly what we were hoping for. Very clean, well equipped, comfortable bed, strong internet connection and excellent fans which made the warm nights much more pleasant. The real highlight, however, is Hassan. An outstanding host who truly goes above and beyond. From preparing individual breakfasts to having the bicycle ready when I was once again running late for a dive and even cheering me on to make it in time. We even returned again after a trip to the north of the island because we liked it so much. Asante sana to the whole crew. 🙏"

"Jozani bioshpere village (JBV) is great! Even if you are not going to the national park, its a wonderful place to stay to experience staying over night in the natural forest, with monkeys scampering around, traditional buildings, close to other attractions (reptile park, farming communities, traditional weaving) or en route to the East coast. The food is exceptional, recommend the octopus soup and any of the mains. The tasiest food we ate of our entire trip. The tent is very cool and clean, just keep it closed to avoid trouble with the monkeys."

"Very well kept, comfortable, modern apartment suites located a 10-15 min walk or quick Bolt ride to the city center. The staff are very friendly and take very good care of the residences."

"The property went above my expectations, it was almost a private villa you'd probably get nowhere in Arusha in that price range. Even my safari guide was puzzled as to how I discovered it. Don't let the lower number of reviews take you elsewhere, it opened in 2023. There's a private garden, lush and manicured with perfection, a balcony, two roof top terraces to enjoy 360deg view of the area and not to forget clear view of Mt Meru, and it's immaculately clean throughout the property. To top it off, the staff was the kindest and most helpful bunch of people, I was blown away by the hospitality of Walter and Jackson who helped me with SIM card, restaurant suggestions, even helping recovering our power bank we left at the SIM store. They made every efforts to make our stay memorable. Definitely coming back here if in Arusha next."
