Īpaši vēlamies izcelt izcilo attieksmi pret viesiem – jūtams patiesi sirsnīgs rūpīgums un vēlme, lai viesi justos ērti un gaidīti. Liela uzslava saimniekam, kurš parūpējās par visu, kas mums bija nepieciešams, vienmēr bija atsaucīgs un pretimnākošs. "Basecamp Eco Lodge is perfectly situated at the beautiful white sand beach of Utende in the middle of a protected marine park. No mass tourism yet on Mafia therefore a tranquil place to fully relax and enjoy the high level of comfort and luxury that Basecamp offers with beautiful new boutique rooms in the middle of an authentic African experience in the village next to it. As the beautiful Chole bay and marine park are just in front of the lodge it is very easy to take one of the many tours.. You can easily spend 1-2 weeks without being bored as Mafia island has much experiences to offer.. There are a few diving schools in Utende at walking distance. Also a few small Swahili restaurants along the coast. The Basecamp restaurant also served a diverse and tasty menu which changes every day. The staff of Basecamp is amazing - they really make you feel at home and take care of everything you might need. Highly recommended!"
