"Quiet, relaxing, beautiful off-grid place run by brothers Kaka and Jambo, who are welcoming and good company. The room is large and has a good shower room attached. I enjoyed meeting Kaka's camels and having a tour of their farm. Jambo made a nice dinner and breakfast, too."

"Fantastische ecoplek waar je blij van wordt. Kaka leeft hier zelfvoorzienend met zijn gezin, vertelt je vol enthousiasme over zijn voedselbos en laat je (als je wil) zien hoe de door hem geniaal gecreëerde ecosysteempjes in elkaar grijpen en functioneren. Ook alle aanwezige planten, kikkerpoel, vogels (incl de zichzelf voedende kippentuin én de zeearend) en... zijn geliefde kamelenstelletje komen aan bod. Dankzij zijn inspanningen is de jakhals weer terug in het gebied en functioneert die weer als 'vuilnisman' van de omgeving. De kamer is ruim en comfortabel en als je wil zorgt Jambo, de broer van Kaka, voor een compleet maal met ingrediënten uit de tuin."

"De plek ligt (natuurlijk..?) wat uit het dorp dus je moet eerst een hobbelige weg over waar een 4x4 geen overbodige luxe is."

"Es ist ein sehr außergewöhnlicher Ort.sehr nette Besitzer.Die Kamele sind zuckersüß.Man fühlt sich rundum wohl dort. Es wurde extra für uns gekocht. Bekamen auch einen schönen Rundgang über die farm und haben alle Pflanzen erklärt bekommen"

"Es ist sehr weit außerhalb.hat mich nicht gestört da wir einen Fahrer hatten. Aber wer selbst fährt oder einen Transport braucht ist es schwierig da die strasse schlecht.das dolle man vorher wissen"

"Sam, the owner of the place, is just the nicest guy - who also makes a great breakfast! We had a really nice time staying at Tukutane and also did a daytrip to the hotsprings with Sam, which was just the best. It is a little bit expensive for a daytrip, but I would not miss the opportunity to visit this amazing place. If possible visit the hotsprings on a week day, since it can get a little full on the weekend. From the property of the homestay you can see the Kilimanjaro if the weather is clear. If the clouds clear up, they usually do so in the morning or in the evening, so if we would not have stayed at a place with direct view of the Kilimanjaro, we would not have seen it at all."

"Leticia was very nice and always took care of us when we needed something. Ordering food, organizing taxi, taking care of laundry. She was always reachable. We had our 1,5 year old toddler with us and he loved it too. We even had some stuff for breakfast in the fridge."

"I loved the energy of the guy who manages and introduces the facility, it was a pit stop for us before a long flight we booked this place and slept there for 5-6 hours and checked out at 2 AM. The place, as far as I see when we arrived and checked in around 7-8 PM, looked peaceful, quiet and joyful. They prepared a takeaway breakfast for us to enjoy at airport (eggs wrap, fruits, crepe and nutella) and they suggested it, so kind."
