"The girls at reception were amazing! At first I thought they spoke English, as my initial interactions with luggage storage and checking in went flawlessly, but later when I had a question about the laundry room, they had to figure out what I was asking and how to resolve my issue. They went out of their way to help me out and showed me exactly where to go and what to do without hesitation and for that, I am grateful. My room was huge with 2 double beds and a large, modern bathroom with electronic toilet. Loved the view outside! Not exactly the center of town, but lovely to see. Location was walking distance to a lot of stores and eateries, so easy access to everything."

"Wasn't expecting the room to be cleaned the following morning (I stayed 2 nights), as I set up my own clothes line to hang up the stuff I washed the night before, as well as having my travel gear sprawled out on the other bed. Not really a negative, just that I would have tidied up a little more if I knew the room would be cleaned and sheets replaced during my stay."

"A decent hotel for a short stay in Chiayi. It's located next to the train station and within walking distance to the food market. The room was spacious and clean."

"The most awkward breakfast experience I had in Taiwan. You have to preselect from four choices. Them breakfast is delivered to your room. It looks like acquired from a fast food stall. The toast was not fresh and totally dry. The coffee was lukewarm. The other food looked so unsavory, that I trashed it. A really bad experience. The second day, I skipped the breakfast and ate out."

"The hotel was clean and nice. Room was pretty big and comfortable. Staff at the front desk spoke a little english but they tried their best to help with our needs."

"Towels are not included, and you have to rent one for $50 per piece—we only found out at check-in. Slippers are also not provided, and walking barefoot on the bathroom tiles was not a pleasant experience for me. These little things took away from my experience and made me feel like the hotel wasn’t worth the price."
