"I really really liked this hostel. I stayed there for almost two weeks while I was visiting friends in the city. The host is super nice and very caring. He even got me some homemade cake for the holiday. Also he has good recommendations on where to go. Big recommendation!"

"It’s a good place to stay and place was clean. Also the place is 12 mins walking distance from bus station. If someone is going to sun moon lake and Qingjin farm they can consider this place. Owner is also very nice and helpful."

"The hostel is great. There are so many things and facilities you can use. There is no staff on sight which was a bit strange in the beginning but was not a problem at all. You could ask any question via text and the owner was very helpful. He gave us important information for our hiking trip and was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay a lot. The dorms aren't the biggest rooms but they are clean and you have everything you need. Including reading lights, sockets to charge your phone and privacy curtains. I would stay again and I highly recommend the hostel to anyone visiting Puli."

"I got a small cockroach on my bed. but the host responded immediately at 10 pm, and let me change the room. they just need to resolve the issue with a pest control company, because aside from that, this is a great hostel and I do recommend it!"

The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we were warm, dry, comfortable and fed after being in the rain all day. We were grateful for the delicious food, and the opportunity to rinse off our bikes. "The breakfast is simple but nice mix of western and Chinese. They even had vegetarian meat alternatives. The property was built in 2010, damaged by the typhoon in 2015 and then repaired. You can feel the history of the place, which is something I loved. It might not be for everyone if things like DIY repairs and signs of age bother you. The view is amazing. Having a large hot spring bath (hot and cold) for yourself is amazing. The staff are all very nice and polite and helpful."
