"It's a charming hotel at the top of Jiufen Old Street. A magical location worth spending money on. It's just that you have to be really fit to walk up and down the stairs most of the time. Perfect breakfast setting with a gorgeous view and the kindest owner ever."

"The bed was definitely quite hard but that was a very minor issue for me. Also this isn’t any issue at all with the accomodation especially as they let you know in advance but if catching the bus from Taipei city make sure to get off at Jiufen Old Street instead of Jiufen police station if you don’t want to carry your luggage up a LOT of stairs."

"Staff was really nice and spent a long time telling me about how to travel around and where to go. Place had a really homely feeling. Breakfast was wonderful with a great view. Aircon worked well."
"I got off at Jiufen Police Station and lugged my luggage probably 200 steps up to the hostel. Do get off at Jiufen Old Street instead to save yourself the trouble (you still need to go up maybe 30 steps but much more manageable.) Besides that, bed was a little hard and room was small but no big issue."
"The location is very good. After getting round in the evening along Jiufen old street you can just walk back to the hotel and relax. The place is very quiet and clean (well, not super super clean but you can expect a very good level of cleaness for this old house) The place is also very cute and traditional. The breakfast is exceptional. You can sit on the balcony and enjoy Jiufen view during having breakfast. The people who take care of the place are very nice and caring. This fulfill our Jiufen trip <3"
